Why the Progression Hub Exists
I created The Progression Hub because I recognised a gap in the support available to radiographers.
Clinical training prepares us exceptionally well for patient care, but there is often limited guidance around applications, interviews, leadership development, career planning, and professional growth.
My goal is simple: to provide the support, guidance, and practical tools that I wish had been available earlier in my own career.

My Journey
Kieran Barrett
Founder
Like many radiographers, I began my career focused on developing my clinical skills and providing the best possible care for patients.
As my career progressed, I quickly realised that technical competence alone was not enough to secure new opportunities. Applications, interviews, leadership development, and understanding how to demonstrate impact all played an important role in progression.
Over the last seven years, I have progressed from a newly qualified radiographer to a Band 8A Superintendent Radiographer, working across both NHS and private healthcare settings.
Throughout that journey, I experienced first-hand many of the challenges that radiographers face when navigating career progression.
